Owned by Brigitte and Jean-Pierre Fayard, the Chateau Sainte Marguerite is located in La Londe Les Maures, a small town near the Mediterranean coast that benefits from the climatic influences of the sea and enjoys perfect exposure to the sun's rays. When Brigitte and Jean-Pierre saw the estate for the first time, in 1977, it was love at first sight: the couple immediately decided to try their hand at the wine adventure that, over the decades, has been carried on by the new generations of the family. Symphonie Rouge is a high quality Provencal red wine made from a blend of Grenache and Syrah, which ages for 12 months in barrels. The wine is made with organically grown grapes and it’s vegan. The wine is powerful, subtle and lean, with ruby red color and purple reflections. The nose is distinctive with aromas of red fruits, candied fruits, kirsch, and violet. It is a spicy Provencal red with great personality and flavors of chocolate, licorice, and black cherry. Château Sainte Marguerite Symphonie Rouge should be served at 17-18 ° C with a rib of beef, lasagna, duck breast, and game stews.
