DoReMi Saperavi 2020
Gyártó: DoReMi
Cellar for up to 10 years. It can benefit from decanting. Located in eastern Georgia, in the famous Kakheti region, DoReMi was established in 2012 by Mamuka Tsiklauri and Giorgi Tsirghvava, two childhood friends with a common dream of producing excellent Georgian wines. The company is ideally located near the Alavani River and protected by the Caucasus mountain ranges. The native grapes, harvested in various regions of Georgia, are organically grown and processed with traditional methods and without the use of additives. The DoReMi Saperavi is made from the homonymous Georgian red grape variety grown in the Kakheti region and processed with traditional Kakheti technology which consists of fermentation, maceration and aging in the Qvevri clay pots put underground. The resulting wine is a classic dry Saperavi. The nose is full of notes of berry jam, mulberry, raspberry, cherry, plum, dried fruit, and spices such as cloves and black pepper. In the mouth, it shows great personality, high acidity, solid tannins and a medium body. It is juicy and warm, elegant and characterful. It can benefit from some rest in the cellar or some food company. It will be great with beef bourguignon, roast beef or a spicy noodle dish.
