Cuvelier Family Cuvelier Los Andes Grand Vin 2018
Gyártó: Cuvelier Family
Drink it now or cellar for up to 15 years. It is recommended to decant it for an hour and half. Cuvelier Los Andes is the bodega that the Cuvelier family, owner of the Chateau Leoville Poyferre, built in Argentina in the early 2000. Directed by Bertrand and Jean-Guy Cuvelier, the bodega is located in Valle de Uco, Vista Flores, Tunuyán, at the foot of the Andes mountain range. This wine, produced with the supervision of Michel Rolland, is a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc, coming from vines located at 1000 meters above sea level. The must undergoes a triple maceration process. The first one is a cold maceration for 7 days, followed by a fermentative maceration, for a period of 7 to 10 days, and finally a post-fermentation maceration until the completion of the 45-60 days of fermentation. The final wine is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels. The Grand Vin of the Cuvelier Los Andes winery has a deep purple-red color. On the nose, the wine reveals an intense and complex bouquet with aromas of ripe red fruits and hints of vanilla. In the mouth, the wine is round and of good consistency, seductive and with velvety tannins. Served at around 18 ° C, it will go perfectly with game, red meats, and spicy cheeses.
