Berlucchi 61 Franciacorta Nature Blanc de Blancs 2014
Gyártó: Berlucchi
Drink it now or cellar for up to 10 years. No need to decant it. Founded in 1955, the Berlucchi house immediately established itself as the main wine producer in the Franciacorta area, soon becoming a leader in the sector. Today it has over 600 hectares of vineyards and boasts two company estates: the Caccia al Piano in Tuscany and the Fratta di Fratta di Monticelli Brusati, in Brescia. The latter, heart of their Franciacorta operations is instead an imposing nineteenth-century villa completely restored, with the adjoining cellar characterized by four trunks of a Greek cross gallery. The company's vineyards represent the highest expression of viticulture in Franciacorta: certified organic since 2016, they are treated according to the principles of quality and sustainability to produce limited quantities of high-quality wines. The Berlucchi 61 Franciacorta Nature Blanc de Blancs features all the elegance of the most suitable and sunniest plot of Chardonnay and the purity of the territory of Franciacorta in the total absence of ‘dosage’. In the glass, the wine shows abundant and creamy foam, sinuous perlage, and good persistence. The color is intense straw yellow with slight references to gold. The aromatic palette is broad and deep, characterized by notes of ripe plum, lime blossom, and tertiary notes of caramelized hazelnut. On the palate, the wine shows its firm personality, supported by good structure and lively acidity. It can be enjoyed throughout the meal; it pleasantly accompanies rich aperitifs, fish main courses, white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
