Crafted by the oldest producer of wine in the Champagne region, the Gosset Grand Rosé displays a joyous salmon pink hue and generous stream of fine bubbles. Bursting out of the flute come voluptuous aromas of sticky summer strawberries, wild redcurrants and raspberries along with subtle undertones of cinnamon and ground nutmeg. The palate offers a generously full body, soft mousse, and intricate layers of flavours which bring to mind strawberry jam, freshly-baked croissants, blackcurrants and zesty blood orange. These persistent flavours linger on the tongue long after the wine is gone. To allow this diva to truly shine, consider pairing this opulent pink Champagne with foie gras or save it for dessert alongside a clafoutis adorned with fresh wild berries. The Grand Rosé has already undergone considerable bottle ageing and is ready to be drunk now, although it can also be cellared for up to three years to add even more grandeur. Gosset has been making fine Champagnes in the renowned Grand Cru village of A? since the 18th century. One particular characteristic of their Champagnes is that all but one are made without malolactic fermentation. The typical house style therefore features a tart acidity which is combined with a low dosage to create Champagnes with vibrancy and longevity.
