Manincor Moscato Giallo 2017
Gyártó: Manincor
Ideally drink now to 2022. Best served at 7-10°C Bright straw yellow in color, with delicate aromas of citrus and spice. Find an inviting aroma of nutmeg and clove, brightened by grapefruit and tangerine, with a nice hint of honey. On the palate, this Yellow Moscato has succulent juicy meyer lemon citrus, exotic mango and quince fruit and a lovely dose of minerality like the hint of distant salt air. Juicy with fresh balance. Exquisite pairing from start to finish. Open a bottle as an aperitif, pair with the intense spices of Thai food, or sip alongside panna cotta for dessert. Mouthwatering alone or with food! Manincor Estate can trace it’s history of winemaking to 1662, and with that long history, comes a deep passion for producing quality wine, worthy of carrying the label. In 1991, Count Michael Goess-Enzenberg took over the family estate with the aim to cultivate top quality grapes and superb wine. In that time, he has managed to do so in a natural and sustainable fashion, carrying on the legacy of his family. With 50 hectares of land, Manincor is one of the largest estates in the Tyrol region, allowing for great diversity in terroir. The Moscato grapes were sourced from two sites- Mazzon and Vogelleiten. The former sits at 350m with very steep south facing gravelly morainal soil that gets intense sunlight. Vogelleiten, also an extremely steep mountainside site, offers soil with limestone and clay gravel. The wine experienced a 12 hour maceration and followed with natural oak fermentation. The result of selection, terroir and production is this wonderfully fruity, creamy and mineral Moscato.
