Champagne AR Lenoble Blanc de Blancs Chouilly Grand Cru
Gyártó: Champagne AR Lenoble
Drink now or cellar for up to 5 years. Serve chilled. A gentle stream of tiny bubbles and seductive aromas of ripe pear, zesty lemon, and brioche are the first characteristics to capture the senses, while the first sip reveals a crisp freshness, smooth mousse and long-lasting baked apple, honey, and vanilla flavours. A small proportion of the wine is vinified in oak barrels which helps to give a creamy texture and well-rounded finish to the Champagne along with hints of toasted nuts and smoke. The Chardonnay grapes for this inviting Blanc de Blancs are all sourced from the small Les Aventures vineyard in the Grand Cru village of Chouilly. As with all of their Champagnes, AR Lenoble owners Anne and Antoine Malassagne only work with grapes grown on their own land to ensure they can obtain the very best quality fruit. The brother and sister team insist on ploughing their vineyards and also use cover crops between the vines and avoid using chemical treatments to improve and protect the diversity of the ecosystem. Anne and Antoine inherited the estate from their father in 1992, but the property was founded way back in 1920 by Armand-Raphaël Graser. Ever since those early beginnings the estate has remained independent and family-owned. Under the leadership of Anne and Antoine the house has flourished and become one of the most important small independent Champagne houses.
