Drink it now or cellar for 3-5 years. No need to decant. Serve it at 10/12 °C. Ca 'del Bosco is unquestionably a pillar of the Franciacorta territory. This very important company was born in the mid-1960s, when Annamaria Clementi Zanella bought a small house with vineyards, in the municipality of Erbusco. The winery history, however, was initiated by Annamaria's son, Maurizio Zanella, who was able to identify the characteristics of the Franciacorta area. At the beginning of the 1970s, Maurizio became the precursor to the enhancement of those areas, transforming the small house into one of the most modern and productive wineries in Italy. Franciacorta Dosaggio Zéro DOCG “Vintage Collection” is obtained from a skillful blend of 25 base wines, produced with Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir grapes. The musts ferment in small oak barrels and the final wine remains on the lees for 48 months. It is a wine of great elegance and personality with a deep straw yellow color. The bubbles are fine and persistent. On the nose, it shows aromas of fresh fruit, notes of bread crust and hazelnut. On the palate, it is full-bodied and round, with a bitter aftertaste. It works beautifully with risotto with aromatic herbs and makes a delicious aperitif.
